DJ Stacey Blackman is a Greensboro, NC native. After attending Clemson University & Appalachian State University on a track scholarship, he moved to Charlotte, NC . Since then he has become a club icon on the North Carolina club scene. He has received numerous awards including CBS broadcasting mix show/DJ of the year 6 years straight. DJ Blackman was awarded Charlotte Vibe DJ of the Year for 2008. He has also opened for various celebrity concerts including Rick James, Jamie Foxx, Common & Erykah Badu. Depending on the event promotion, you can catch Stacey spinning at various underground soul events or keeping the dance floor hot with today’s hip hop, the classics, reggae, salsa, go go and r&b. Not too mention Stacey Blackman has done over 100 wedding receptions in his career. When its time to party with the mature, upscale crowd, you can usually find Stacey Blackman holding it down on the one’s & two’s.
