Remember all of the controversy a few years ago over the credit card swipe in Nelly’s “Tip Drill?” Well, Marques Houston’s new video “Pullin’ On Her Hair” raises the stakes on how black women are degraded in music videos. The single is the first release off Houston’s album “Mattress Music” due Sept. 14.
“Pullin’” features Rick Ross, a woman on all fours and Houston pulling on a ponytail longer than any dog leash I’ve ever seen. Our family at Detroit’s HOT 102.7 in collabo with WorldStarHipHop.com gave us an exclusive sneak peek at “Pullin On Her Hair” video.
