Anyone watching the Oscars on Sunday will remember when the red-headed lady jumped onstage during Roger Ross Williams’ acceptance speech for “Prudence.” It was odder than the Kanye moment.
The woman, Elinor Burkett, seemingly came out of nowhere and started rambling. Granted I had never heard of Williams or “Prudence,” and I wasn’t really listening to Williams’ speech. Once Burkett jumped onstage I tuned in because it was obvious she was tripping.
