It is party time!
This is the time of year that many black Charlotteans anticipate. We takeover uptown. The CIAA is like what Freaknik used to be in Atlanta, but for a more mature audience. It’s like the NBA All-Star week. It’s good times with good friends and making memories that will last until next year.
On the court Johnson C. Smith will try to keep its titles. The Charlotte university swept the tournament last year. Off the court, celebrities will host parties in uptown and beyond. I’ll be out day and night bringing you the best of CIAA 2010. Below is my list of not to miss events.
TONIGHT
