Seems like the Queen of Hip Hop/Soul has come under fire lately for mismanagement of her non-profit.
The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) is being sued by a bank for an unpaid $250,000 loan and a group of artists who say they were not paid for performing at one of the charity’s fundraising galas.
In addition to these lawsuits, the New York Post is reporting that the non-profit doesn’t have an office or valid telephone number, didn’t file a 2010 tax return and has thousands of dollars in missing donations.
