Local writer Kenny Mack has been doing a lot of that lately. He’s put his musings in a book, “Women Are The New Men: But Who’s Gaming Who?.”
Here’s an excerpt from that book. In the excerpt, Mack analyzes what he sees as a new dynamic in relationships. Mack says women are now taking the role of men in relationships – in more ways than one. Check it out and let us know what you think. Are women really the new man in relationships?
The thing about fellas is that we play games and think that we are playing by ourselves. That is, until that day when we are extremely surprised and disappointed to find out, the one thing that we had feared about our girl, that she was playing the game too. Games have winners and losers. In a relationship who is the winner who is the loser? The winner is the person that cares the least because they can get over it the fastest. The person that cares the least is able to do what they feel, and do what they want to do and worry about explaining their self at a later date.
